Instagram arrived much earlier than expected: the Audio-Only feature has already been working on most accounts since April 29.
Of course, this does not pull a revolution, since the developers have simply added camera and microphone buttons that can be turned on and off.
What opportunities are there now:
Conduct live broadcasts with 2, 3 and 4 speakers, each of which can only be in audio format. With the camera turned off, an avatar is shown on a blurred background.
Speakers can mute the microphone when they are not speaking – so as not to create unnecessary noise on the air.
Also, now you can make non-public calls in Yandex.Direct.
Instagram has made a new feature to make the discussions flow more relaxed. When people don’t need to worry about how they look, they are more likely to voice their opinions.
In addition, the presence of only sound on the stream allows speakers to simultaneously conduct live and do household chores.
